Now in its fourth year, Summer for the City has evolved into an exciting takeover of Lincoln Center’s indoor halls and outdoor spaces. Visitors can expect to experience a range of activities and performances that make summer in NYC that much more exciting. Don’t miss out!

What To Expect at Summer for the City

Lincoln Center is open to explore. Here’s where the magic’s been happening:

The Dance Floor at Josie Robertson Plaza
NYC’s largest outdoor dance floor that boasts a 10-foot disco ball. Social dances, silent discos, and live DJ sets for everyone to enjoy.

Damrosch Park
A 2,500-seat amphitheater that’s been hosting free performances all summer, from samba to symphony.

The Underground at Jaffe Drive
Cabaret-style pop-up meets cocktail bar. This hidden spot has been serving up jazz and comedy nights all season.

The Garden at Damrosch Park
For a little break in the action, this chill greenhouse-style park is perfect for reading, relaxing, and recharging.

Hearst Plaza
Reflecting pool, outdoor dining, and spontaneous performances in the heart of the action.

Ticket Info

Events are either Free or Choose-What-You-Pay (starting at just $5.) Tickets opened back in May, but many events still have availability. The suggested ticket price is $35, but pay what you can, and enjoy without stress.
