Brooklyn knows how to throw a street festival, and Atlantic Antic is one of the biggest on the calendar. The 51st annual festival takes over Atlantic Avenue on Sunday, September 27th, with food, music, shopping, family activities, and plenty of reasons to make a full afternoon of it. Admission is free, and the festival is happening rain or shine.
A Day on Atlantic Avenue
Atlantic Avenue turns into a massive outdoor celebration from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM from Fourth Ave to the waterfront. As you make your way along the avenue, you can:
- Grab food from Atlantic Avenue restaurants and vendors, with plenty of cuisines to choose from.
- Browse handmade crafts, vintage finds, fashion, and other goods from local businesses.
- Catch live music and community performances at multiple stages along the avenue.
- Bring the kids for pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, circus performers, and more.
Atlantic Antic has been a Brooklyn tradition for more than five decades, and the mix of local businesses, artists, performers, and neighbors gives the festival its distinctly Brooklyn feel. Plus, September is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy NYC’s fall weather. Enjoy 10 blocks of fun at Atlantic Antic.
