Speaker Bio: Alexandra Wilkis Wilson

With over 15 years of international experience in luxury goods, retail, and finance, Alexandra Wilkis Wilson is on the forefront of revolutionizing and innovating the landscape of luxury e-commerce.

Alexandra is currently the co-founder and CEO of the home organization and styling service called Fitz, which helps people get dressed easier.

Alexandra rose to prominence as the co-founder of Gilt Groupe, one of the first flash-sale sites in America. For 7 years she helped grow the com pany to what it is today and held multiple roles including her initial role as Chief Merchandising Officer.

In 2014, Alexandra co-founded GlamSquad, a mobile app that provides high-quality hair, make-up and nail services on demand at an affordable price.

Alexandra has always been extremely passionate about entrepreneurship. In addition to founding multiple successful companies, she also involved in Birchbox, Rent the Runway, Carbon 38 and Send the Trend, Techstars and Liberty Media’s Women’s eCommerce Network (WeCN), Harvard Business School Rock 100 Entrepreneurs Summit, Venture for America, and Perry Ellis International (Nasdaq: PERY). She also serves on the Governance, Investment, Nominating and Compensation Committees.

Together with Gilt co-founder Alexis Maybank, Alexandra is the author of The New York Times bestselling book By Invitation Only: How We Built Gilt and Changed the Way Millions Shop. Alexandra holds a B.A. from Harvard College, from which she graduated magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She speaks five languages and is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).
