Halloween in the Village is back! Streets fill with music, giant puppets, and hundreds of costumed marchers. The Village Halloween Parade returns to Greenwich Village, and this year’s theme, “A Potluck,” invites everyone to bring something to share. Show up in costume or find a spot on the sidewalk.
March Into the Madness
NYC knows how to do a parade, and the Village Halloween Parade is no exception. Get in on all the action:
- Date: Thursday, October 31st, 2025.
- Location: Greenwich Village, marching up 6th Avenue.
- Time: Kicks off at 7:00 pm.
- Cost: Free for participants & spectators.
- Highlights: 100,000+ costumed marchers, giant puppets from Processional Arts Workshop, live bands, dancers, and a literal “potluck” of creativity.
- How to Participate: Just show up in costume and be part of the feast, whether you’re marching or spectating.

- March ($125): Skip the line, access the secret backstage entrance, and march with your favorite band or group. Fabulous costume required.
- VIP Area Standing ($250): Enjoy a prime viewing spot along the parade route, with complimentary snacks, beverages, and portable restroom access.
- VIP Area Seating ($450): Settle into your own private director’s chair, enjoy VIP swag, snacks, and the best views of the parade.
