If your schedule allows, Friday is the day to visit. Free Friday Night Fireworks light up the sky every week in August. Displays are scheduled for August 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. The show begins at 9:45 PM along the boardwalk near West 10th Street through West 15th Street, and the fireworks launch directly over the beach.
The boardwalk fills up well before sunset, so an early dinner or a late afternoon stroll can turn into a front-row seat once the fireworks begin.
