The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival is back in Harlem from August 28th to 30th for three days of free live music in Marcus Garvey Park. Now in its 34th year, the annual festival celebrates the legacy of the legendary saxophonist while bringing together some of today’s most respected jazz artists and emerging performers. Three Days of Free Jazz
The Harlem lineup begins Friday evening with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Saturday’s performances feature Joshua Redman, Nat Adderley Jr., and Catherine Russell. Sunday closes the festival with Ravi Coltrane, Kassa Overall, and Vanisha Gould. Additional performances and partner events also take place to round out the weekend.
