Labor Day weekend brings plenty of festivals to New York City, but A Murder of Crows XI offers something entirely different. From September 3rd through 5th, 2026, the annual event takes over venues in Brooklyn and Manhattan with three nights of goth, post-punk, darkwave, and deathrock music. Bands, DJs, and fans from across the country come together for a weekend dedicated to New York City’s underground music scene.
An Alternative Labor Day Weekend
The weekend begins Thursday, September 3rd, with an opening pre-party at TV Eye in Brooklyn. The festival then moves to Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan for its main performances on Friday and Saturday.
Featured artists include Anja Huwe, Kommunity FK, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Creux Lies, Blacklist, and Nyx Division, along with guest DJs curated by Sean Templar of The Red Party. Bowery Ballroom performances are open to guests 21 and older, with doors opening at 7:00 PM each night.
Now in its 11th year, A Murder of Crows has earned its place on New York City’s alternative music calendar. Single-night tickets and two-day passes are available for the flexibility to catch one night or make a full weekend of it.
